This blog is soo irrelevant to fashion whatsoever right now- actually maybe not because I'm finding inspiration in things that have nothing to do with it. Anyway, I'm sitting here being an imsoniac right now because I can't sleep. Usually I'm complaining about this- I do that a lot as well as most teens, no scratch that- everyone complains! OK back to the topic- just wanted to post some pics from halloween day+ night.I went to the aquarium,too. Enjoy!This is my friend annie and we are cheeseballs


Annie loves penguins and she might've kidnapped one if Me and my friend Anna weren't there =) I don't love them like that but they're cute!

I'm pretty sure this is an eel. It popped out of nowhere and it just looked so amazing to me that I decided to stare at it for about 5 minutes. He ( or maybe she?) kept on opening it's mouth and staring at me-

me: I think it's trying to say something!

This might sound strange but I thought the jelly fish were beautiful-I forgot their exact name but they're a species from Japan. I really like their colors and the way they move. They look like floating chiffon.

Another one

I went trick or treating this year on Beacon street and it was gorgeous. People sat out on their doorsteps to hand out candy and some of them dressed up. There were a million little kids running around in their costumes-they were so cute! They made me feel so old to be trick or treating though,haha I'm still going next year.

This was my excuse for a costume. I decided the day before halloween that I was going to go trick or treating. I'm definitely planning in advance next year. Off to bed...

Fall has found it's way to Boston and I'm feeling it.Layers and layers of clothes and excuses to wear huge scarves indoors because my school is cold!I don't want it to be winter....but you can't always get what you want. Time off of school is spent wandering around the city with no destination in sight, just reflecting on my life. I have a lot to catch up on. I've isolated myself to a point where it drives me crazy sometimes. I need to catch up with some friends. This world is to cold to be alone and it only gets colder. Meanwhile some pictures...I really want to shoot people and I want an slr! I shot some film that I really like,too maybe I'll scan them onto here soon =)

I probably should be going to bed at this time but I just finished Watching Stylista so I thought I'd post about. After waiting all week to watch it, I have to say that I liked it, despite some bad reviews. So yeah, there are the typical cliche contestants that are exploited because of their attitudes and the show seems a little, hmm, fake? But it's all good because I'm going to keep watching it, anyway.

So far I personally like Ashlie- She was so confused during the breakfast challenge but I love how even with two minutes to spare on the clock , she was able to pull Anne Slowey's breakfast together and won the first challenges as well as the second with her group. And the girl can run in heels on concrete,somethingI'm still amazed by,ha!

Michelle- I like how she is not the "norm" of the crowd of the shoe but she still manages to project herself well.She seems modest and chill but she seems to lack a little self confidence. I can definitely relate but girl, you need to show them you can work it!Yeah,I think that's my inner tyra speaking...

The ones I think I'm gonna hope get voted off

Megan- What is with her? She definitely gave off a bitchy vibe. There is no need to go around talking ish about people whom you haven't even known long enough. Then during the challenge she gets the directions wrong. It pays to listen, you know.

Kate- Ok, I don't hate her but she complained a lot. She was told that her style was inappropriate but she whined about changing it. That's understandable but in some places you can't dress with your cleavage out like that. You can still keep your sense of style without letting it all hang out.

Arnaldo had to leave. Aww, he had gorgeous hair. I hope he achieves what he wants.

Everyone else I'm neutral on becuase it was the first episode and not much was shown about them. Ill probably change my opinion throughout the season.
Btw, I can't be the only one to notice that Anne Slowey couldn't walk right in her heels when they showed her getting out of a car. No disrespect but I chuckled at the thought of this stern woman of prestige in the fashion world not even being able to walk upright with heels. Hey, she probably had a long day, though...No one's perfect.

Today I had one of those days where I didn't even have to rack my closet or my brain for something to wear. I finally found a military jacket! The tights are h&m ,the skirt and jacket are thrifted.Everything just fit like a puzzle.
This past weekend , I had bought an awesome looking beaded sweater. It was 8 bucks but it had a hole.I bought it anyway only to wash it and have it literally fall apart out of the wash.Lesson? No matter how awesome it looks,no damaged goods!Ooooooh, I also got my paycheck today and I'm going to try my best to NOT spend it all in two days. I'm pretty awful with money like that. Bad habits can be changed though. At least, that's what I believe.
Today it took me a lifetime to take these pictures.I was kinda falling all over the place. I spared the sight of the ugly background by blacking it out.Sexy,huh?And... My camera broke so I guess I'll start a fund to get an slr camera. )

So I had this photo saved on my computer from Daul Kim's Blog. Then it was on fotodecadent so I was reminded on how I love the shot. Obviously, it's influenced by Amy Winehouse and there is nothing horrific about that, it just kinda sucks that she had issues with drugs,cutting,whatever they say about her. Anyway...I love the wedges she's wearing. Generally I don't like them because they look like building blocks attached to your feet.But,yeah some of them are growing on me. I want these lace up wedges! I saw a pair of wedges yesterday, simple in black,yesterday and I'm going to run back to the store to get them once I get my paycheck. Crossing my fingers that they'll be there.

This Week In a Blur

This week has went by really quick. I've resorted to taking pictures of my outfit in the bathroom and train station because by the time I can do it,it's dark out.The weather is getting colder.That means a nice warm coat,tons of huge scarves,and layers. I can't believe I'm saying this but I wore a dress for the first time since I think 5th grade.!At first I was so nervous about it but it was all good.I love the flowy movement of a dress or skirt. When I was in elementary,I remember wearing a unifom skirt to school almost everyday,what happend?I put on a pair of jeans and it changed my life forever.Now,I'd like to wear both. This blog is turning out to be pretty random.Hence the name..I think I'm just gonna blog about my life in general.That includes fashion,art,and personal thoghts.Well,Everything seems to be going OK in life, yet I'm slightly unsatisfied.It sucks but I'm so hard to satisfy. When I'm not feeling awful,I'm having issues with family or friends,or school is stressing me out.(Ugh,highschool) I'm also trying to find a balance on these or just a way to feel happier.I promised myself that I would not let myself grow up to be a grouch,an unhappy person,that I wouldn't let myself turn into another blank faced stranger on the train. I feel like I'm turning into the person I never want to be.Speaking of friends, I want to make more friends. I feel like the people you hang out with are the ones who help make you.They bring you joy and give you reason to smile.I feel as if I am not surrounding myself with people I love being with.Initiating conversation and keeping in touch is the way to go,but I still manage to botch it up.I'm pretty damn awkward.Getting better at it,though. AlsoI'd like to do something new with my hair.This ponytail is getting soo boring to me...Enough ranting,tomorrow is another day,another chance to start over.

Another Monday,Another week. A list of Goals to be complete. My only wish is to complete them all. Yesterday was pretty awful.I was stuck in bed all day.Today I blew snot out of my nose all dayyyy...but you didn't need to know that.I like blue and red together.Just an outfit for school.Most days my style is some combination of this-hoodie,jeans,sneakers.Haven't worked heels into the equation yet.Scarves are such fun and I want more! I spy with my dark brown eyes...a kitty lurking in the background?

So off I set to catnap this kitty.Ha,I'm not conspicuous at all....
Oh,wait! he already belongs to me,har har =)

Gah,school is tiring.I have homework by the mile!Today I learned how to make a pinwheel camera and produce a picture in the darkroom of the photography studio today.I like my outfit today so I thought I'd post.I love,love,love these boots because they're so versatile.They're my response to the Doc Marten Trend.They are timeless.Maybe I'll start posting more outfits.I feel like I'm much more able to express myself this year when it comes to fashion and ideas.Also,I'm going to join my school's newspaper.I'm so excited!But yeah,aren't I excited about everything?

And so it is the end of New York Fashion week .Everyone has been combing through and attending shows,choosing their favorite looks.And I?I have nothing,really.Not that the shows didn't have anything I like-I just didn't feel the urge to look through tons of designer collections.However,I was browsing across the Sartorialist's photos on style.com and of couse found some that I love-

School has started and Junior year is going to be SUPER busy. I definitely have to focus more on academics than in the past. I've been attemptin to step up my fashion game as well.This is kinda vain but one of my goals for the school year is to master walking in heels(3 inches) at school and everywhere else.Better start now....

Meanwhile,I'm learning photography!C'est super!Also,I finally get to take art in school and...I'm trying to get into a precollege course for fashion illustration so I'll see how it goes.I'm so excited!I'm definitely been more inspired lately.I'm buying my fall and winter wardrobe but summer won't leave yet so I can wear them.Patience is a virtue.

School starts soon and that is a sucky fact.But the best part?I have an excuse to go shopping and I'll be able to work soon.Some things I bought this past weekend(excuse my weird faces and the grainyness(argh),lol)

Forever 21 Jacket-I have a thing for anything moto-styled/ punk rock inspired clothing.Maybe it's asymmetrical articles of clothing.All I know is that I jumped to get this jacket when I saw it.It was the only one I saw around the store and just my size.One of the stiches in the cuff came apart though.Bummer!but I'm still in love with this jacket.

Oh yeah,I forgot to mention that I also love things with plaids ,checks,and especially big funnel or cowl necks.So of course I had to have this.I already have one in blue from h&m but the red one was calling my name.I only did the smart thing and bought it.Ok, I love stripes,too! I think ruffly shirts are so cute but they usually look strangely too feminine when I wear them.This one was perfect.

Along with those,I bought a pair of purple opaque tights and some woven black tights as well as some leopard print hoops and a cute Cynthia Rowley striped belt.Booyah! I'm still on the lookout for some things but I'm a happy shopper for now.
