Africa,the Beautiful

Some pictures from a volunteer/leadership trip to Capetown, South Africa. So amazing that I wish I was back. It's left me with a traveling bug or rather a major sense of wanderlust!

My view from the plane, super sweet sight to be woken up to!

Early in the morning, all 37 of us on the trip caught a Ferry to Robben's Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. As we were boarding the ferry, this is what I saw.
When driving on the freeway, you'd come across small, colorful metal and wooden shacks, children playing soccer on the side of the road, people selling everything and green-green,green,and more green! For me, I'm not used to it here in the city so it was a luxury in capetown. Here in the picture is I guess a landmark for the planes are landing at the airport.

A foggy morning view from the top of Table Mountain. Nothing comes quite close to seeing it in real life. It makes you feel as if you're on top of the world, as cheesy as that sounds.

Two little sailboats floating along the beach. Here live some of the more priveleged dwellers.
